Elsie Nora Marr, daughter of Joseph Fox Marr and Annie Sackett, was born in Sculcoates, YorkshireG, on 26 January 18921 and baptized there on 24 March 1892.2 She died aged 100 in Sarina, Queensland, AustraliaG, on 23 July 1992. She married in St Peter Port, GuernseyG, on 4 October 1918, Edgar William Corbet, son of Nicolas Corbet and Emma Lavinia Le Huray.3
     In 1901 Elsie was living at Victoria Avenue, St Sampson's, GuernseyG, in the household of her parents Joseph and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Elsie Marr, aged nine and born in England.4
     In 1911 she was living at 4 Albion Terrace, Vale Road, St Sampson'sG, in the household of her mother Annie, and was recorded as Elsie Nora Marr, a shop assistant, aged 19 and born in Hull.5
