John Sackett, son of Robert Sackett and Frances Simmons, was baptized at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 15 August 1723.1 He died aged 77 on 23 February 1800 and was buried there on 1 March 1800.4,5 He married at Monkton, KentG, on 3 September 1749, Mary Ayles.2,3 Mary was born about 1725.6 She died aged 48 on 28 July 1773 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 8 August 1773.5,7
     John was named as a beneficiary in his brother Francis's will made at Margate, KentG, on 13 October 1763.8 He was left one guinea.

Francis Sackett, yeoman of Margate, Kent, son of Robert Sackett and Frances Simmons, was baptized at St John in ThanetG on 15 November 1726.1 He died by 18 July 1799, when his will was proved. He married at St John in ThanetG on 11 October 1753, Abigail Austen.2
     Francis made his will at Margate, KentG, on 13 October 1763, naming as beneficiaries his wife Abigail, his brother John, and John's children, Mary, John, and Sarah.3 Francis and Abigail were evidently childless. He left one guinea to his brother and to each of his brother's children, and the residue of his real and personal estate to Abigail.
