2629. Robert Francis Sackett, 1842–1864, of Clinton, Macomb Co., Mich., son of (1055) Lemuel and Mary Millar Sacket, enlisted in U. S. Navy and served on gunboat "Forest Rose," of the Mississippi squadron, under Capt. Gould. He died on shipboard, Nov. 8, 1864, of typhoid fever. His body was brought to his home at Mt. Clemens, and buried in cemetery at that place.
