I Samuel Sackett of Ten Mile, Macon County, State of Missouri, do make, publish and declare my last will and testament as follows:
First I give and bequeath unto my wife Margaret the use of all my real and personal estate of which I may have at my death during her natural life and if the income from the real estate be not sufficient to give her a comfortable support then she is to have the right to dispose of such personal estate as may be necessary for the same, also to have the right to dispose and sell all such stock as may become old and unprofitable the same as any judicious farmer would do, and at her death the real estate and what may remain of the personal estate to be equally divided between my children and their heirs with one exception. Emma Kairn to have one cow, bed and bedding more than her brothers and sisters have out of her mother's share of the estate.
2nd I give to the children of my deceased daughter Lucy Caroline Stephens one share.
To the children of my deceased daughter Elizabeth Kairn one share.
To Enos Sacket one share.
To John Sackett one share.
To Reuben Sackett one share.
To Winfield Sackett one share.
To my daughter Cyrena now the wife of John Lampkin one share.
To Henry Sackett one share.
To my daughter Leah now the wife of William Watson one share.
To my daughter Hattie now the wife of James Draper one share.
To Thomas Sackett one share.
To Lewis G Sackett one share.

I Jas W Roberts judge & clerk of the Probate Court of Macon County Missouri having examined the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Samuel Sackett deceased and signed by said Samuel Sackett, and having heard the evidence of W B Barnes and Geo E Mapes subscribing witnesses to said instrument, and of B Van Vleet witness to the signature of said deceased to said will, in relation to execution of said will, do declare and adjudge said instrument of writing to be the last Will and Testament of the said Samuel Sackett deceased late of Macon County Missouri and the same is admitted to probate as such.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the Probate Court of Macon County State of Missouri at office in the City of Macon County and state aforesaid.
