MRS. R.O. SACKETT SUCCUMBS IN CITY
Midwest Woman Lived in Region for Twenty Years
Mrs. Gladys Blanche Sackett, wife of Ross O. Sackett of Midwest, Wyo., died at the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital, Thursday morning. The funeral will be held from Champion's Funeral Home at ? o'clock. Friday afternoon, burial will be at the Sackett family lot at the Big Horn Cemetery.
Mrs. Sackett, who was 35 years old at the time of her death was born at Chetopa, Kan. She came to Johnson County, Wyoming with her parents in 1909. She had resided in Johnson County and the town of Midwest since that time. She attended school at Buffalo and graduated from the high school there. She lived at Buffalo ranching? school until the time of her marriage to Ross O. Sackett, when they moved to Midwest.
Her husband Ross O. Sackett was born at Big Horn. He has four brothers, Clyde Sackett of Big Horn, Lee Sackett of Manila, P.I.? H.?O. Sackett of Kaycee, and C.L. Sackett of Sheridan. He also has one sister, Mrs. Bula Gatchell of Buffalo.
Mrs. Sackett is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Johnson of Midwest; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Roberts Webb of Wheatland; her husband, Ross Sackett of Midwest and three children; Ellen Lena Sackett, Jack Darwin Sackett and Martha Chadhen Sackett [? paragraph blurred].
