Last Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Sackett were very agreeably as well as completely surprised by a crowd of young people appearing all at once. The young people had the fun of serenading the bride and groom with dish pans, shot guns, etc.; but to keep Mr. and Mrs. C. M. good natured they fixed the matter up very nicely by having a kitchen shower which consisted of a large number of pieces of very fine granite ware. All seemed to have a very enjoyable time and departed for their homes at a late hour.
