Thomas Sackett, husbandman of Birchington, Kent, son of John Sackett and Mary ___, was baptized at St Peter's Church, Thanet, KentG, on 26 June 1642.1 He died aged 38 and was buried at Birchington ChurchG, on 9 July 1680.2 He married at St Mary Bredin, CanterburyG, on 1 June 1669, Anne Brown.3,4 Anne was born in BirchingtonG, in 1643.5 She died aged 70 and was buried there on 15 March 1712/13.6
     Thomas was named as a beneficiary in his brother John's will made in St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, on 1 April 1678. He and each of his sisters were to receive one shilling.7

in manner & forme as followeth viz. First I bequeath
my soule into the hands of Almighty God my Maker
hopeing that through the Merits Mediation Death and
Passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour & Redeemer to
receive free pardon & Forgivness of all my sins And as for
my body to be buried in Christian Buriall at the discretion
of my executrix hereafter nominated / Item I doe
bequeath to my brother Thomas ?Sackett One Shilling /
