|I was born in 1962 to George Dewey Sampson Brelsford. At that time, he was 63 years old. I am the younger of two sons, my brother born in 1960. This accounts for the generation gap between me, my dad and grandparents. I've known little about my Dad's family until the last three years. |
I am currently married to my wife, Dawn, and will celebrate our 7th anniversary on October 1, 2012. We have no children, but an ornery 4 year old Terrier/Schnauzer mix.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Music, but most of my working career has been in healthcare either working with geriatrics in nursing care centers or home health care. I have worked with many different cases including but not limited to special needs and Alzheimer's patients.
For the past three years I have worked on family history both from my mother's side and dad's side. Because of the generation gaps in my dad's family, I had little to work with except the old family bible. So with that information and my extensive research online, I have been successful learning much about my heritage and family. I am excited to be a part of this association and hope some day to meet some of you at one of the upcoming reunions.
