Burt A Batzel, son of Charles Batzel and Caroline Sackett, was born in Mendon, Monroe County, New York StateG, on 30 June 1907.1,2 He died in January 1979.1 He married in Monroe CountyG on 8 March 1929, Helen P Felstead, daughter of George Felstead and Violet Earl.3 Helen was born in West Bloomfield, Ontario County, New York StateG, in about 1908.2
     In 1910 Burt was living at The Cheese Factory Road, MendonG, in the household of his parents Charles and Caroline, and was recorded in the census as Burt A Batzel, aged two and born in New York.4
     In 1920 he was living at Honeoye Falls Ionia Road, West BloomfieldG, in the household of his parents Charles and Caroline, and was recorded as Burt Batzel, aged twelve.5
     In 1930 he was living at Tucker Meeting House Road, MendonG, and was recorded as Bert Batzel, aged 22. He was living with his wife Helen, 22, in the household of his parents Charles and Caroline.6
