Justus Sackett Jr, son of Justus Sackett and Anna Lyon, was born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 3 April 1777.1,2,3 He died there aged 76 on 7 March 18541,2 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church Cemetery, GreenwichG.2,4 He married first at the Second Congregational Church, GreenwichG, on 25 December 1800, Clarissa Belcher, daughter of Elisha Belcher and Lydia Reynolds.1,5 Clarissa was born on 14 April 1783.1,6,3 She was baptized as an adult at the Second Congregational Church, GreenwichG, on 3 September 1815.7,8 She died aged 60 in GreenwichG on 21 January 18441,6 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church CemeteryG.6,9 He married second in about 1847, Eunice Peck, daughter of Gideon Peck and Eunice Close.1,10 Eunice Peck was born in June 1793 or July 1793.1,11 She died aged 64 in GreenwichG on 7 September 18541,11 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church CemeteryG.11,12
     Justus was listed in the census in 1820, 1830 and 1840 as a householder in GreenwichG.13,14,15

About the year 1847, he was married to his second wife, Eunice Peck, 1793–1854, daughter of Gideon Peck and his wife Eunice Close.
