Sophia Sackett, daughter of Thomas Sackett and Mary Wilkinson, was born in Rotherhithe, SurreyG, on 21 June 17651 and baptized at St Mary the Virgin, RotherhitheG, on 14 July 1765.1 She died unmarried aged 65 and was buried at Bunhill Fields, London, MiddlesexG, on 26 August 1830.2
     Administration of Sophia's estate was granted on 10 September 1830 to her nephew George Samuel Sackett. Sophia's only surviving family member, and therefore entitled to her estate, was her brother George who was registered as a lunatic. George's wife, also Sophia, consented to the arrangement whereby their son was made administrator of the estate "for the use and benefit of the said George Sackett during his lunacy."3
