Henrietta Sackett, daughter of Henry Sackett and Martha Higgs, was born in Hornchurch, EssexG, in 1768 and baptized at St Andrew, HornchurchG, on 31 March 1768.1 She died aged 51 in Grays Thurrock, EssexG, and was buried there on 21 May 1819.2 She married at St John the Baptist, Clerkenwell, MiddlesexG, on 18 January 1796, John Edwards Eve, son of John Eve and Jane ___.3,4 John was baptized at Grays ThurrockG on 5 December 1772.5 He died aged 42 and was buried at Grays ThurrockG on 8 November 1815.6
John Eve, butcher and salesman, made his will at Grays ThurrockG on 10 September 1812. He appointed as executors his wife Henrietta, unmarried sister Anne Eve, and brother-in-law William Sackett. They were to sell his real estate, placing the proceeds in trust for the benefit of his wife and children. The will was proved on 10 January 1816.7
