Paul Sackett, Royal Navy seaman, son of Paul Sackett and Sarah Gilbert, was baptized at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 9 October 1737.1 Paul died abroad between April 1755, when he made his will, and March 1757, when the will was proved in Canterbury.
     Paul made his will on H.M.S. Yarmouth on 28 April 1755, leaving everything to his parents Paul and Sarah.2
