Sarah E Gibbs, daughter of Linus Gibbs and Polly Sackett, was born in Blandford, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 6 February 1817.1 She died aged 51 on 3 October 1868 and was buried at Chester Factory Village Cemetery, Chester, Hampden CountyG.2 She married first in BlandfordG on 12 May 1836, Eli Knox.3 Eli was born in 1809.2 He died on 13 March 1844. She married second in BlandfordG on 13 May 1846, Daniel Fry.4,5
     Sarah was named as Sarah E Fry in her father's will made at Blandford on 18 June 1867. She was to inherit equally with her siblings after their mother's death.
