Robert Francis Sackett, son of Lawrence Melvin Sackett and Nettie Elizabeth Shepherd, was born in Townsend, Oconto County, WisconsinG, on 29 August 1921.1 He died at Beaver Dam, Dodge County, WisconsinG, on 12 August 2000.1 He married in Dubuque, IowaG, in 1947, Vivian Ione Achterberg.1
     In 1930 Robert was living at Forest Avenue, TownsendG, in the household of his parents Lawrence and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Robert F Sackett, aged eight and born in Wisconsin.2
