David Leroy Sackett, son of Leroy Sylvester Sackett and Lillian Quinn, was born in PennsylvaniaG on 10 June 1920.1,2,3 He died aged 62 in August 19824 and was buried at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaG.5 He married at Brooke County, West VirginiaG, in 1941, Josephine Mary Vigiletti, daughter of Domenic Vigiletti and Frances Swiatek.6 Josephine was born in Detroit, Wayne County, MichiganG, on 12 March 1925 and died aged 66 on 28 February 1992.7
In 1930 David was living at Locust Street, Harrison, Allegheny CountyG, in the household of his parents Leroy and Lillian, and was recorded in the census as David Sackett, aged nine and born in Pennsylvania.8
David completed a World War II draft registration card in 1941. He was aged 20 or 21 and was living in Tarentum, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG.9
