Ivy Joyce Sackett, daughter of Joseph Sackett and Margaret Maud Langley, was born in Bermondsey, LondonG, on 24 May 1927.1,2 She died aged 91 in Newington, Hartford County, ConnecticutG, on 24 September 2018.2 She married in Boston, MassachusettsG, in about 1946, Victor E Rajotte.2
     Ivy emigrated to the United States on 3 September 1946 to join her husband-to-be Victor Rajotte who she had met when he was stationed in England during the Second World War. She flew from London to New York and from there travelled to Victor's home in Roxbury, Boston, MassachusettsG.3
