Mary Wetmore Sackett, daughter of Captain James Joseph Sackett and Harriet Capes, was born in ConnecticutG on 25 September 1840.1,2,3 She died unmarried aged 30 in Darien, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 8 February 18711,4 and was buried at New Woodland Cemetery, Stamford, Fairfield CountyG.5
     In 1860 Mary was living in Darien, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, in the household of her mother Harriet and stepfather John Bell, and was recorded in the census as Mary W Sacket, aged 20 and born in Connecticut.6
