Cora A Sackett, daughter of Edmond Howard Sackett and Matilda ___, was born in WisconsinG in October 1872.1 She married in about 1891, Ben Winchell.1
In 1880 Cora was living at Black Earth, Dane County, WisconsinG, in the household of her parents Edmond and Matilda, and was recorded in the census as Cora Sackett, aged seven and born in Wisconsin.2
In 1900 she was living at Chambers, Holt County, NebraskaG, in the household of her husband Ben Winchell, 31, a farmer, and was recorded as Cora A Winchell, aged 27. Living with them were their children, Nellie, 8, John, 6, Catherine, 4, Gilbert, 3, and Beatrice, aged one.3
In 1910 she was living at Chambers, Holt County, NebraskaG, in the household of her husband Ben, 41, a farmer, and was recorded as Cora A Winchell, aged 37. Living with them were their children, Nellie, 17, John, 16, Katherine, 14, Gilbert, 13, Beatrice, 11, George, 10, Ismy, 7, Helen, 5, Alva, 3, and Harry, aged one. They owned their home free of mortgage.4
In 1930 she was living at O'Neill, Holt County, NebraskaG, in the household of her husband Ben, 61, registrar of deeds at the County Court House, and was recorded as Cora A Winchell, aged 57. Living with them were their unmarried children, Catherine, 34, Gilbert, 33, Alva, 23, Beryl, 19, and Orville, aged 14.5
