Jasper Philip Sackett, son of Jasper Newton Sackett and Emily Jane Corlew, was born in IllinoisG on 7 October 1876.1 He married first in Payne County, OklahomaG, on 31 January 1897, Edna Potter, daughter of James Potter and Martha J Clary.1,2 Edna was born in MissouriG in February 1879.1 He married second in Logan County, OklahomaG, on 30 June 1909, Rebecca D (___) Chapman.1 They divorced on 26 January 1915.1 He married third in Caddo County, OklahomaG, on 16 October 1924, Myrtle (___) James.1
     In 1880 Jasper was living in Spring Valley, Cherokee County, KansasG, in the household of his parents Jasper and Emily, and was recorded in the census as Jasper P Sackett, aged three and born in Illinois.3
     In 1900 he was living in Cimarron Township, Payne County, OklahomaG, and was recorded as Jasper P Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 23 and born in Illinois. He rented his home and farm. Living with him were his wife Edna, 21, and their children, Harry, 2, and Ona, aged nine months. They were living next door to Jasper's parents.4
     In 1910 he was living in Willow Township, Caddo County, OklahomaG, and was recorded as Jasper P Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 33 and born in Illinois. He owned his home and farm on a mortgage. Living with him were his second wife Rebecca, 31, his children, Harry, 12, and Ona, 10, and Rebecca's daughter Bonnibell Chapman, aged eight.5
     Jasper completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was an employed farmer, aged 41, and was living at Geary, Canadian County, OklahomaG.6
     In 1920 he was living in Valley, Canadian CountyG, in the household of Jasper M Jones, and was recorded as Jasper P Sackett, a stock manager on a ranch, a widower, aged 43 and born in Illinois.7
     In 1930 he was living in Alfalfa Township, Geary, Blaine County, OklahomaG, and was recorded as Jasper P Sackett, a llivestock trader, head of household, aged 53 and born in Illinois. He rented his home. Living with him were his third wife Myrtle, 37, and their daughter Madeline, aged eight.8
