William Lloyd Sackett, son of George Raymond Sackett and Katherine Twohig, was born in Revere, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, on 30 November 1899.1 He died aged 91 in Hartford, ConnecticutG, on 8 June 19912,3
and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, West HartfordG.4 He married in about 1925, Margaret Madeline Carey, daughter of Cornelius Carey and Bridget A McInerney.5 Margaret was born on 17 January 1902. She died aged 88 on 7 January 1991
and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, West HartfordG.4
In 1900 William was living at Payson? Street, RevereG, in the household of his parents George and Katherine, and was recorded in the census as William L Sackett, aged six months and born in Massachusetts.6
In 1910 he was living at Barrett Street, RevereG, in the household of his parents George and Katherine, and was recorded as William Sackett, aged ten.7
William completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 18 and was a tool keeper for the US Government at the Boston Navy Yard. He was living at 45 Barrett Street, RevereG.8
In 1920 he was living at Barrett Street, RevereG, in the household of his parents George and Katherine, and was recorded as William L Sackett, a shipfitter's helper at the Navy Yard, aged 20.9
William completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 February 1942. He was aged 42 and was employed by Robert Steele and Dolan Co. He was living in HartfordG with his wife Margaret.10
