William Loyd Garrison Sackett, son of Cassander Sackett and Henrietta M Beach, was born in Tallmadge, OhioG, on 3 September 1833.1
     In 1850 William was living in Division 28, Lee County, IowaG, in the household of his parents Cassander and Henrietta, and was recorded in the census as William Sacket, a farmer, aged 17 and born in Ohio.2
     In 1860 he was living in Denmark, Lee County, IowaG, in the household of his parents Cassander and Henrietta, and was recorded as Wm L G Sacket, an engineer, aged 26.3
