Amy Mary Ann Hogbin, daughter of John Hogbin and Mary Ann Apps, was born in Herne Bay, KentG, in 1864.1,2
     In 1871 Amy was living at Victoria House, William Street, Herne BayG, in the household of her parents John and Mary Ann, and was recorded in the census as Amy M A Hogbin, a scholar, aged seven and born in Herne.3
     In 1881 she was living at Victoria House, Herne BayG, in the household of her parents John and Mary Ann, and was recorded as Amy Mary Ann Hogbin, an upholster's shop assistant, aged 17 and born in Herne Bay.4
