Samuel James Sackett, son of Vincent Edward Sackett and Elizabeth "Betsey" Issell, was born in Bermondsey, SurreyG, on 11 May 18331 and baptized at St Mary Magdalen, BermondseyG, on 1 September 1833.2 He died in childhood in BermondseyG,3 and was buried at New Ground, New Street, St John Horsleydown, Southwark, SurreyG, on 26 January 1838, with his brothers Vincent and Robert, all probably the victims of cholera.4
