Harriet Hannah Sackett, daughter of Francis Sackett and Hannah Jarman, was born in Broadstairs, KentG, in 1841.1,2 She married in St Paul's Onslow Square, South Kensington, MiddlesexG, on 26 April 1886, Thomas Jennings, son of John Jennings.3
     In 1851 Harriet was living at 2 Harbour Street, Broadstairs, KentG, and was recorded in the census as Harriet Sackett, a scholar, aged nine and born in Broadstairs, daughter of Francis Sackett.4
     In 1861 she was living at Albion Street, Broadstairs, KentG, in the household of her parents Francis and Hannah, and was recorded as Harriet Sackett, a schoolmistress, unmarried, aged 19 and born in St Peter's.5
     In 1891 she was living at 2 Farley Cottages, St Peter's, KentG, in the household of her niece Emma (Sackett) Woodward and Emma's husband Frederick Woodward, and was recorded as Harriet H Jennings, aged 49 and born in St Peter's. She was living with her husband Thomas, 37, a butler. His description as "visitor" suggests that he and his wife were visiting rather than living with Emma and her family.6
