Elizabeth Sackett Kissam, daughter of Dr James Brooks Kissam, was born in August 18391 and died in infancy in New York StateG on 28 March 1840.1 Elizabeth was not a Sackett descendant; her father, James Kissam, was a nephew of Elizabeth Kissam, the wife of Samuel Sackett (1765–1822) of New York.2
