Eugenia Whipple, daughter of Capt. George Whipple and Henrietta Sackett, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in 1833.1,2 She died aged about 88 on 15 May 1922 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.3 She married first ___ Foote. She married second in WestfieldG on 6 February 1868, John A Freed, son of Henry Freed and Catherine ___.4
     Eugenia was named as a beneficiary in the will of her grandfather Warham Sackett made in WestfieldG on 28 July 1853. She was to inherit, with her sister Julia, the household furniture after Warham's widow Eunice's death.5
     Eugenia was named as a beneficiary in the will of her great-aunt Harriet Sacket made in WestfieldG on 29 October 1849. She was left a sum of $25 but, following Harriet's death some years later in 1875 and the realisation of her assets, the sum actually inherited was $62.50.5
