Hazel Mae Hitchcock, daughter of Harry Sherwood Hitchcock and Dora Mandana Sackett, was born in Murdo, Jones County, South DakotaG, on 7 October 1923.1 She died aged 81 on 20 August 2005.2 She married first before 1946, ___ Brownlow.1 She married second before 1971, ___ Nighbert.1
     In 1930 Hazel was living in Buffalo, Jones County, South DakotaG, in the household of her parents Harry and Dora, and was recorded in the census as Hazel M Hitchcock, aged six and born in South Dakota.3
