Rosetta Sackett, daughter of Robert John Sackett and Maria Mayne, was born in East Ham, EssexG, on 26 December 1911.1,2 She died aged 67 in Stepney, LondonG, in 1979.3 She married in West HamG in 1933, Alexander R Nye.4,5 Alexander was born on 27 February 1913.6
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Alexander and Rosetta were living at 3 Colchester Avenue, East Ham, EssexG. He was a bricklayer.6
