Reginald Frank Sackett, son of Frank Pilcher Sackett and Rosa Harriet Sawkins, was born in Woodnesborough, KentG, on 6 February 1910.1,2,3 He died aged 74 in Dover, KentG, in June 1984.4 He married in Thanet, KentG, in 1942, Edith Margaret Lucy Batey, daughter of Matthew Batey and Edith L Masters.5,6 Edith was born in Eastry, KentG, on 7 July 19227,3 and died aged 75 in ThanetG on 20 September 1997.8,9
     In 1911 Reginald was living at Marshboro, Woodnesborough, KentG, in the household of his parents Frank and Rosa, and was recorded in the census as Reginald Frank Sackett, aged seven months and born in Woodnesborough.10
     In 1921 he was living at Mill Lane, Worth, KentG, in the household of his parents Frank and Rosa, and was recorded as Reginald Frank Sackett, aged eleven.11
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Reginald was an agricultural labourer, living at Rosa, Eastry, KentG, with his parents Frank and Rosa.12 His future wife Edith was living at 21 Roman Way, Eastry, KentG, with her father Matthew.13
     Edith left a will which was proved in Brighton, SussexG, on 16 October 1997.9
