Donald Alfred Sackett, son of Alfred Sackett and Fanny Skelton, was born in Addiscombe, Croydon, SurreyG, on 25 February 1908.1,2 He died aged 59 in CroydonG in 1967.3 He married in Camberwell, LondonG, in 1934, May Kathleen Howe.4,5 May was born in Lambeth, LondonG, on 25 August 19126,2 and died aged 85 in CroydonG on 11 October 1997.7,8
     In 1911 Donald was living at Ivy Lodge, Sanderstead Road, Sanderstead, SurreyG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Fanny, and was recorded in the census as Donald Alfred Sackett, aged three and born in Addiscombe, Croydon.9
     Donald attended Woodside Infants' School, Croydon, SurreyG, from 15 September 1913. The family were then living at 83 Grant Road.10
     In 1921 he was living at 83 Grant Road, Croydon, SurreyG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Fanny, and was recorded as Donald Sackett, aged 13.11
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Donald and May were living at 24 Bramley Hill, Croydon, SurreyG. Donald was a sales manager in the motor trade.12
     May left a will which was proved in Bristol, GloucestershireG, on 11 December 1997.8
