George Alick John Sackett, son of Alfred Sackett and Rose Emily Bailey, was born in Brighton, SussexG, in 19071 and baptized at St Barnabus, Hove, SussexG, on 2 June 1907.2 He married in Thanet, KentG, in 1925, Hellen M Hart.3,4
     In 1911 George was living at 67 Ellen Street, Hove, SussexG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Rose, and was recorded in the census as George Alick John Sackett Bailey, aged four and born in Brighton.5
