William Wetherill Iliff, son of Samuel Iliff and Patience Wetherill, was born in Zanesville, Muskingum County, OhioG, on 13 July 1822. He died aged 63 in Cheltenham, Montgomery County, PennsylvaniaG, on 5 March 1886 and was buried at the Cheltenham Methodist Church CemeteryG on 8 March 1886. He married in Newtown, Bucks County, PennsylvaniaG, on 14 November 1844, Susan Rich Gilbert.3
