Mary Ann Sackett, daughter of Samuel John Sackett and Mary Ann Gardner, was born in Lambeth, SurreyG, in 1857.1 She married at St Philip's Church, LambethG, on 13 January 1880, Thomas Watkins, son of Joseph Watkins.2,3
     In 1871 Mary was living at 24 Saville Place, Lambeth Walk, Lambeth, SurreyG, in the household of her parents Samuel and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Mary A Sackett, a scholar, aged 13, and born in Lambeth.4
