Maude Elizabeth Conklin, daughter of Oscar Orrin Conklin and Ella Sackett, was born in MinnesotaG on 17 December 1892.1 She died aged 49 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MinnesotaG, on 25 March 19421 and was buried at Nashville Cemetery, Truman, Martin County, MinnesotaG. She married on 26 November 1912, Frank Hammond Pettit.1 Frank was born in Sabetha, Brown County, KansasG, on 18 May 18901 and died aged 64 in MinneapolisG on 4 November 1954.1 They were divorced in the late 1930s.1
In 1900 Maude was living in Prescott, Faribault County, MinnesotaG, in the household of her parents Oscar and Ella, and was recorded in the census as Maudie Conklin, aged seven and born in Minnesota.2
In 1910 she was living at Great Falls, Cascade County, MontanaG, in the household of her parents Oscar and Ella, and was recorded as Maud E Conklin, aged 17.3
In 1920 she was living at 39th Avenue, MinneapolisG, in the household of her husband Frank, 29, a machinist, and was recorded as Maud E Pettit, an embroiderer at a stencil company, aged 27. Living with them were their daughter Melva, aged one, and Maude's widowed mother Ella
