James William Sackett, son of Elisha W Sackett and Elizabeth Voyles, was born in IllinoisG on 28 January 1847.1 He died in LitchfieldG in 1937.1
     In 1850 James was living in the Southwest part of District 22, Montgomery County, IllinoisG, in the household of his widowed mother Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as William Sackett, aged three and born in Illinois.2
     In 1910 he was living in Cimarron TownshipG in the household of Charles and Geneva McPhail, his nephew and niece, and was recorded as James W Sackett, a farm laborer, single, aged 63.3
