Waverly, June 19.—Frederick Curtiss, aged 86 years, died suddenly Monday, June 19, about 12:30 o'clock at his home in this city from the effects of heart trouble. He was born in Connecticut, and came to Illinois about seventy-five years ago, having lived here on a farm east of this city until three years ago, when he moved to Waverly. He is survived by his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Charles Swan, of Topeka, Kan., Mrs. George Hopin, Cement, Okla., Mrs. Frank Huth, of Modesto, Miss Louise Curtiss, of Waverly, and two sons, W. B. Curtiss and Frank Curtiss, residing near Waverly. An inquest was held.
