Edgar Haynes Sackett, son of Myron Ward Sackett and Sarah Varian Barber, was born in Meadville, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, on 16 April 1883.1,2,3,4 He died aged 76 on 28 December 1959 and was buried at Greendale Cemetery, Meadville, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, on 30 December 1959.5 He married on 13 October 1914, Finetta G Porter. Finetta was born in Denver, ColoradoG, on 24 January 1878.6 She died aged 51 and was buried at Greendale CemeteryG on 26 May 1929.7
     In 1900 Edgar was living at Liberty Street, Meadville, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Myron and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Edgar H Sackett, at school, aged 17 and born in Pennsylvania.8
     In 1910 he was living at Liberty Street, MeadvilleG, in the household of his parents Myron and Sarah, and was recorded as Edgar H Sackett, manager of a printing house, single, aged 26.9
