Orange E Sackett, son of Homer Sackett and Margaret McKenzie, was born in New York StateG in September 1847.1,2 He died aged about 80 in Broward County, FloridaG, in 1927.2
     In 1850 Orange was living at York, Livingston CountyG, in the household of his parents Homer and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Orange Sacket, aged two and born in New York.3
     In 1870 he was living in Avon, Livingston CountyG, in the household of his parents Homer and Margaret, and was recorded as Orange E Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 22 and born in New York. He had personal estate of $600.4
     In 1880 he was living in Avon, Livingston County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Homer and Margaret, and was recorded as Orange Sackett, a railroad conductor, single, aged 32 and born in New York State.5
