Cyrus Sackett, son of Samuel Sackett and Julia Ann Heath, was born in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, IndianaG, on 26 December 1837.1,2 He died aged about 76 in Adams CountyG in 19131 and was buried in Backesto Cemetery, Monroe Township, Adams CountyG.3 He married in Adams CountyG on 8 November 1860, Christiana Eley.3
In 1850 Cyrus was living at Blue Creek, Adams County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents Samuel and Julia, and was recorded in the census as Cyrus Sacket, aged twelve and born in Indiana.4
In 1860 he was living at Blue CreekG in the household of his widowed mother Julia, and was recorded as Cyrus Sackett, a farmer, aged 22.5
In 1880 he was living at Blue CreekG and was recorded as Cynes Sackett, a sawmiller, head of household, married, aged 42 and born in Indiana. Living with him were his wife Christina, aged 42 and born in Ohio, and their children, Franklin, 18, Columbus, 13, John, 11, Nina, 9, and Estelle, aged seven.6
