Thomas Stephen Sackett, son of George Edward Sackett and Rosa Wilson, was born in Margate, KentG, on 16 November 1908.1,2,3 He died aged 52 at All Saints Hospital, Chatham, KentG, on 13 December 1960.4,5 He married first in Milton, KentG, in 1930, Margaret A Marshall.6,7 Margaret was born on 15 September 1908.3 She died aged 31 in Canterbury, KentG, in 1940.10 He married second in Coventry, WarwickshireG, in 1943, Violet McReynolds.8,9 Violet died aged 43 in Chatham, KentG, in 1949.11
     In 1911 Thomas was living at 26 Hastings Avenue, MargateG, in the household of his parents George and Rosa, and was recorded in the census as Thomas Sackett, aged two and born in Margate.12
     In 1921 he was living at 7 Beatrice Road, MargateG, in the household of his parents George and Rosa, and was recorded as Thomas S Sackett, aged twelve.13
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Thomas and Margaret were living at Lepwood, School Lane, Swale Rural District, KentG. Thomas was a labourer at the Royal Navy Dockyard Chatham.14
     Administration of Thomas's estate was granted on 11 April 1961 to his daughters Daphne and Sheila. His estate was valued at £3,418.15
