Henry Sackett, son of Henry Sackett and Annie Kelly, was born in Rotherhithe, LondonG, on 21 March 1891.1,2,3 He died aged 65 in the City of LondonG in 1956.4 He married at St Olave Bermondsey, LondonG, in 1927, Charlotte Johnson.5,6 Charlotte was born on 24 January 1891.3
     In 1901 Henry was living at 5 Anthony Street, Bermondsey, LondonG, in the household of his parents Henry and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Henry Sackett, aged ten and born in Rotherhithe.7
     In 1911 he was living at 40 Janeway Street, BermondseyG, in the household of his parents Henry and Annie, and was recorded as Henry Sackett, single, aged 20 and born in Rotherhithe.8
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Henry and Charlotte were living at 21 Pilgrim House, Tabard Street, Southwark, LondonG, in the household of Eliza J Johnson, perhaps Charlotte's mother. Henry was a street trader and news vendor.9
