Marcus George Van Nieuwkerk, son of Jacobus J Van Nieuwkerk and Clara Sackett, was born in Elham, KentG, in 1923.1 He married first in Edmonton, MiddlesexG, in 1948, Winifred Margaret Griffiths.2 Winifred was born on 5 October 19253 and died aged 57 in Stevenage, HertfordshireG, in 1983.4 He married second in Enfield, MiddlesexG, in May 1986, Barbara F Goreham.5
