Thomas Sackett, maltster of Ash, son of William Sackett and Joan Parker, was born in Margate, Kent, in about 25 December 1618. He was baptized at St John's Church, Margate, on 3 January 1618/19.1 He died in about 1665.
     Thomas was named as a beneficiary in his father's will made in Ash on 27 June 1639.2

He was left (with brother Robert) his father's dwelling house, malthouses and the residue of the estate after various specific bequests. He married at St Mary, Sandwich, Kent, on 19 March 1642, Mary Coleman, by licence.3,4
     Thomas was named as a beneficiary in his brother Robert's will made in Herne, Kent, on 14 November 1658.5
