Lucretia Shepard, daughter of Lieut John Shepard and Elisabeth Sacket, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 16 February 1758.2 At the age of fifteen, Lucretia married in WestfieldG on 23 April 1773, Lieutenant David Sacket, son of Isaac Sacket and Elizabeth Shepard.3,4,5,6,7 Lucretia and Lieut David were second cousins once removed.
