Mary Sackett, daughter of Henry Sackett and Ann Terry, was born in Rotherhithe, SurreyG, on 30 August 1778 and baptized at St Mary, RotherhitheG, on 27 September 1778.1 She married at St Mary, Bermondsey, SurreyG, on 15 November 1804, Benjamin Walmsley.2
     Mary was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in Kennington Green, Lambeth, SurreyG, on 15 June 1807. She was left in trust a sum of £2,000, for her benefit during her lifetime and subsequently for the benefit of her children. She was further to receive, equally with her brother John Henry and sister Ann, a sum of £2,000, together with the proceeds from the sale of all real estate, and the residue of her father's personal estate after other bequests.3
     Mary was named as a beneficiary in her uncle Ambrose Sackett's will made in St John in ThanetG on 6 February 1808. She was left an amount of £500 in Government stocks.4
