Royal Sacket, son of Pliny Sacket and Elisabeth Kellogg, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 August 1784.1,2,3 He died there aged 74 on 5 April 18593,4 and was buried at Southwick CemeteryG.5,6 He married on 25 August 1808, Eunice Hastings, daughter of Deacon David Hastings and Sabra Morley.2 Eunice was born in ConnecticutG on 23 April 1789.2,7 She died aged 69 in SouthwickG on 30 November 18583,8 and was buried at Southwick CemeteryG.5
     Royal was listed in the census in 1810, 1820, 1830, and 1840 as a householder in SouthwickG.9,10,11,12
     In 1850 Royal was living in SouthwickG and was recorded in the census as Royal Sackett, a farmer, aged 67 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Eunice, 61, and their granddaughter Francene Sackett, aged five.13
     In 1855 he was living in SouthwickG and was recorded as Royal Sacket, a farmer, aged 71. His wife Eunice, 66, was living with him.14
