Cynthia Sackett, daughter of Israel Sacket and Eunice Sacket, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 11 August 17841,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 3 May 1787.4 She died aged 78 in West Springfield, Hampden CountyG, on 14 September 1862.5 Cynthia had a son, Edwin, by ___ Alvord, on 1 February 1806 in West SpringfieldG.6 She married in WestfieldG on 8 March 1808, Elijah Sackett, her first cousin, son of Gad Sacket and Lucy Williams.7,8
In 1850 Cynthia was living in West SpringfieldG in the household of her husband Elijah, 63, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Cynthia Sackett, aged 65 and born in Massachusetts.9
