Moses Sacket, son of Daniel Sacket and Mary Weller, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 29 November 17431,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, in January 1744.4 He died aged 69 in WestfieldG on 4 January 1813.5 He married in WestfieldG on 1 November 1770, Eunice Cadwell.6,7,8 Eunice was born on 28 May 17499 and died aged 93 in WestfieldG on 20 November 1842.10,11,12
     In 1790 Moses was living in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG. In his household were one man, three boys, and four females.13
     Moses was listed in the 1800 and 1810 censuses as a householder in WestfieldG.14,15
     Moses made his will in WestfieldG on 17 April 1812. The will was proved in about May 1813. After allowing his wife Eunice her "widow's third" during her lifetime (which right she waived by letter to the Probate Court on 20 May 1813), Moses left his estate to his children in amounts varying from $1 to $800 each.
     Moses had provided for Philena, Martin, Olive, John, and Heman, presumably in the form of lands in the case of the sons, during his lifetime. Bequests to them ranged from $1 to $150. His other children, who had not been similarly provided for, were to receive full portions, $60 each to daughters Frances and Roxana, and $800 each to sons Erastus and Israel.
     Moses' estate was valued at some $2,500, including a total of 87 acres of lands worth about $1,800.16
     Moses's widow Eunice was listed in the census in 1820 as a householder in WestfieldG.17
