Joyce Sackett, daughter of John Sacket and Margaret ___, was baptized at St Peter in Thanet, KentG, on 30 May 1561.1 She died aged 35, a day or two before the death of her mother Margaret2 and was buried at St Peter in ThanetG on 18 December 1596.2
Joyce was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made at Sackett's Hill, St Peter in ThanetG, on 1 March 1590.3
The will charged Joyce's sisters Katherine, Judith and Eve with Joyce's maintenance. She was at this time about twenty-nine years of age and it would therefore seem that she must have been in poor health.
